About Us
Prestige Home Automation has been providing custom electronic systems design, implementation and programming services to the Tahoe, Reno area since 2005. We do not try to be the largest electronic systems integrator in the Truckee Meadows. Our mission is to be the electronic systems integrator that people go to because we are trusted to do things right and treat people fairly.
Dean Detton is the Founder and manager of day to day operations at Prestige Home Automation, a division of Prestige Automation, Inc. Dean founded Detton Automation in February 2003 and it was renamed to Prestige Home Automation in May 2005. Dean's primary roles at Prestige are Operations Manager, Systems Architect and Systems Programmer. Prior to entering the home automation business Dean spent 11 years at PeopleSoft, Inc. as a Software Engineer and Project Manager. Prior to PeopleSoft, Dean spent 7 years at American Mgmt Systems, Inc. as a Programmer Analyst and Project Manager. Dean has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Cal State University Hayward. His spare time is spent with his wife and son.
